Foresight workshop for the Federal Foreign Office

The Alfred Herrhausen Gesellschaft is organising an online workshop to present the future scenarios for “Digital Europe 2030” and to reflect on their specific implications for the participants’ sphere of activity

The project Digital Europe 2030 interlinks the topics of the public sphere and digital sovereignty and systematically analyses possible futures in order to provide new impulses to Germany’s approach towards the upcoming Presidency of the Council of the EU. In three working sessions, the Alfred Herrhausen Gesellschaft, together with an interdisciplinary group of experts and methodically supported by the company Foresight Intelligence, has developed plausible scenarios for the year 2030.

Yet the results of this foresight process can only be effective if they are further thought through together with political actors. To this end, the Alfred Herrhausen Gesellschaft is organising an online workshop for the Federal Foreign Office to present the future scenarios developed in the project and to reflect on their specific implications for the participants’ sphere of activity.

The workshop will take place on 15 June and is not open to the public. For further information, please contact samuel.walker@db.com
